John A. Jacob

John A. Jacob, age 88 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on July 8, 2003 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in New York City, NY on November 12, 1914, he was the son of the late Vera Jacob. In addition, he was the Manager of the Household Finance Corporation, New York, NY. John was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Jacob, who died in 1996. The burial was private.

John A. Jacob, 88, of Flemington, died Tuesday, July 8, at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township.

Born Nov. 12, 1914, in New York City, he was a 1934 graduate of Flemington High School and a graduate of New York University.

He was a retired manager for Household Finance Corporation in New York City.

He grew up in Ringoes and formerly lived in Florida and Georgia.

His wife, Ruth Jacob, died in 1996.

He is survived by a daughter, Lorraine Jacob, of Westbury, N.Y. and a sister, Sophie Fenton of Flemington.

Funeral arrangements were by Holcombe-Fisher Funeral home in Flemington.
