John A. Krisanda

John A. Krisanda, age 94 years, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016, after a brief stay at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton Township, NJ. Born June 17, 1921 in Akron, OH, John was the son of the late George and Barbara (Kovalcik) Krisanda. He joined the United States Army in 1942 and served until the end of World War II, where he fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired after working for many years with Goldscheider of Vienna in Trenton, NJ. Predeceased by his brothers George and Joseph and his twin sister, Anne (Krisanda) Reichert. He is survived by his brother, Peter Karis, as well as several nieces and nephews and their children. A memorial gathering is being planned for a later date.
