John Anthony Pavlica, Owned Ever-Ready Cleaning Company, farmer, age 83 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Sunday, February 12, 2017 in Country Arch Care Center, Pittstown, NJ.
Born in New York City, NY, September 25, 1933, he was the son of the late Anthony and Katherine Pavlica. Mr. Pavlica had resided in Hunterdon County since 1950.
Mr. Pavlica originally worked on the family dairy farm in Pittstown before moving to Delaware Township in 1958. He worked for Agway, General Motors, as a courier at the Flemington National Bank, and as a custodian at the Delaware Township School, eventually owning and operating Ever-Ready Cleaning Company for thirty years. He later retired from Aramark (formerly Service Master) at the age of 80.
Surviving are his loving wife of 65 years, Mary K. Pavlica; a daughter, Karen Jarman; a devoted son, John M. Pavlica and his wife Alexandrea Gunther-Pavlica; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements and burial in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Midland School, 94 Readington Rd.
