John B. Newton, Sr.

John B. Newton, Sr., age 67 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on October 4, 1998 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Pattonsburg, MO on October 12, 1930, he was the son of Hugh S. Newton and Myrtle Leigh (Ruble) Newton. Mr. Newton was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army from 1951-1956. He then worked as a Railroad Supervisor. John is survived by his wife, Emma (Matthews) Newton, their children, and grandchildren. The burial was private.
