John C. F. Taw

John C. F. Taw, age 85 years, of Clinton, NJ, died Saturday, September 27, 2014, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. A resident of the Clinton area since 1978, he was a graduate of St. Peter's College, Jersey City, NJ, and was an insurance underwriter for several insurance companies before retiring. John was an avid Yankee fan, an animal lover, and a good golfer. He also loved musicals, his favorite being "Fiddler On The Roof". His favorite song was "Misty". Surviving are his wife of fifty years, Lynn Bermar Taw, and his extended family, Patricia Merski, of Kitty Hawk, NC. Private graveside services will be held in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
