John C. Hindle Jr., 89, passed away on November 21, 2015. Born in Teaneck, NJ on April 13, 1926 , John was the son of the late John and Bernice Ravett Hindle, brother of the late Marilynn McKeever. He was raised in Bergen County, NJ and was a resident of Hunterdon County since 1945 and a resident of Marco Island Florida since 1979.
John was a World War II veteran who served in the United States Navy.
He was an entrepreneur who founded Hindle Transformer Company in the 1950s which later became Hitran Corporation, Flemington NJ and HindlePower Inc, Easton Pa.
His life was filled with love of family, friends, business and a host of wonderful activities.
He is survived by Irene Vlahakis Hindle, wife of 67 years, three sons and their spouses, John C Hindle III, Tucson Az, James and Kathleen Hindle, Flemington,NJ, William and Constance Hindle, Pittstown NJ, and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Holcombe Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ, on Monday, November 30, from 7-9pm. There will be a funeral service at Holcombe Fisher Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 1, at 10:30am. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
