John D. Stuart

John D. Stuart, age 73 years, of Three Bridges, NJ, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at his home.

Born in Riverside, NJ, January 4, 1941, son of the late James C. and Eleanor Hartman Stuart, he had resided in Three Bridges forty-two years.

John was purchasing manager for Valcor Engineering, Springfield, NJ, for thirty-five years, retiring in 2005.

He was a graduate of Rutgers University and served four years with the US Navy until 1965 and was discharged with the rank of Lt.jg.

John was a member of the Flemington Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife of forty-four years, Mickey Beatty Stuart; two daughters and a son-in-law, Gwendolyn Faith Stuart of Glen Rock, NJ and Shawn Kimberly (Stuart) Hasting and her husband, Mark Hasting, of Bound Brook, NJ; three grandchildren, Alex, Sam and Andie Hasting; and three sisters, Jane Schulze of Southampton, NJ, Eleanor Gappo of Shiloh, NJ, and Nancy Bohne of Shelburne, Vt.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 1:30PM in the Flemington Presbyterian Church, Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
