John Francis Jordan, age 65 years, of Palmer Township, PA, died on Saturday, December 15, 2007, in Easton Hospital, Easton, PA.
Born in Plainfield, NJ, November 28, 1942, he was the son of the late Daniel and Mary Mallon Jordan. He had previously resided in Frenchtown, NJ, and Quakertown, NJ.
He was a United States Navy veteran attaining the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class, Machinist Mate, serving from 1961-1965.
Mr. Jordan graduated from Plainfield High School. He attended Union County Technical School, receiving an Industrial Electricians certificate and certification as a Black Seal Boiler Operator. In 1988, he graduated from Thomas Edison College of New Jersey with an Associate Arts degree.
Mr. Jordan was employed by AT&T in various locations throughout New Jersey and Massachusetts from 1972-1996. During this time, as a property manager, he received national recognition for managing the most energy efficient building for AT&T. Mr. Jordans's final three years of employment were for Lucent Corporation, from which he retired in 1999.
He was pre-deceased by a brother, Michael Jordan. Surviving are a sister, Mary P. Jordan, of Whitehall, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Mary Lynne Jordan, of Cherryville, NJ; a niece, Jennifer Jordan, of Flemington, NJ; and his nephews, Daniel Jordan of Easton, PA, Michael Jordan of Vancouver, WA, Patrick Jordan of San Diego, CA, and Brian Jordan of Bremerton, WA.
Memorial Services will be announced at a later date under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private.
