John G. Horn

John G. Horn, age 73 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Friday, November 16, 2012, at his home.

Born in Flemington, NJ, January 11, 1937, son of the late Glendon and Mae Doyle Horn, he had resided in Raritan Township since 1965.

He was a lifelong self-employed welder and was a member of the Oliver Tractor Club. He enjoyed repairing old machines and building furniture. He was also a 1957 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School.

Surviving are his wife of fifty-one years, Elizabeth Bohlander Horn; two sons, John S. Horn of Hillsborough, NJ, and Thomas J. Horn of Kingwood Township, NJ; two daughters, Amy Banko of Ringoes, NJ, and Kristen Williams of Washington, NJ; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

His sisters, Margaret Sladden and Elizabeth Leming, pre-deceased him.

Calling hours will be Monday 7:00- 9:00 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

Graveside services will be private in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Reaville, NJ.
