John J. Lotito, age 82 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died on Thursday, April 26, 2012 in the Hunterdon medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, May 4, 1929, son of the late Christo and Grace Fiore Lotito, he was a lifelong area resident.
An extremely hard worker, Mr. Lotito owned and operated Lebanon Cheese Co., Lebanon, NJ.
He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed playing gin rummy where he was the winner of several tournaments.
Mr. Lotito was pre-deceased by his son, Robert in 2009; and by two brothers, Nicholas and Alfonso.
Surviving are his wife of forty-five years, Selina Justin Lotito; seven sons, Christopher of Meadow Vista, CA; John Lotito, Jr. and his wife Dolores of Auburn, CA; Michael and his wife Kelly of Bethlehem, PA; Donald of Lebanon, NJ; Thomas and his wife Cheryl of Lebanon, NJ; David and his wife Paula of Robbinsville, NJ; and Joseph and his wife Ingrid of Annandale, NJ; three sisters, Christine Jacovone and Mary Sica and her husband Albert, all of Rochester, NY and Cecelia DeStafano of Whitehouse Station, NJ; seventeen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will take place Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
