John James Stark

John James Stark, age 59 years, of Sergeantsville, NJ passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at his home. Born in Bloomfield, NJ, November 21, 1960, he was the son of Marilyn McKenna Stark of Dover, NJ, and the late Jack Stark. John was a United States Navy veteran serving with the Seabees. He was a Union Sheet Metal Worker with Local #25, Carlstadt, NJ. John was a member of Elks Lodge #1070, Lambertville, NJ and the Lambertville Boat Club. He loved telling a great story, finding the perfect lunch spot, spending time with his family and friends (especially at Queen St. beach) and anytime he could go out on a boat to fish. He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Stark. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife of twenty-five years, Linda Jones Stark; his children: Caitlin Stark Nardi, and her husband, Phil, of Randolph, NJ, Meghan Stark of Sergeantsville, NJ, and Cameron Stark of Sergeantsville, NJ; and his siblings: Jeanne Cronise of Liverpool, NY, Kathleen Shannon of Dover, NJ, Maureen Martin of Alton, NY, and Michael Stark of Wyckoff, NJ. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 10 AM in St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 44 Bridge Street, Lambertville, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019 from 4-7 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
