John Lawrence “Larry” Totten, age 89 years, of Ventnor City, NJ, died on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at his home.
Born in New Brunswick, NJ, March 25, 1928, he was the son of the late Harry and Alida Kip Totten. Mr. Totten had formerly resided in Neshanic Station, NJ and Key Colony Beach, FL.
Larry was a financial planner and insurance planner before retiring. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II serving from 1945-1947.
Larry was predeceased by his son, Glenn R. Totten in 2004, and is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Barbara Deegan Totten; his sons, Barry Totten of Easton, PA and Dale Totten of Chandler, AZ; his step-children, Claire Desabatino, Christopher Ebert and Mark Ebert; his brothers, David Totten and Frank Totten; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 2:30 PM in the Clover Hill Reformed Church under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Somerset, NJ.
