John M. Tinley, age 65 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Thursday, September 24, 2015 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, June 1, 1950, he was the son of the late Joseph and Frances Curley Tinley. He had resided in Readington Township for fifty-two years.
He was employed for many years by RCA/Tyco. John was a member of the Somerset Sportsman's Club, and a Communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Three Bridges, NJ, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus #15540 and served as a hall monitor for CCD classes.
Surviving are his wife of twelve years, Maureen Joy Tinley; a son, Jeremy Tinley of Readington Township, NJ; a stepdaughter, Jessica Tedesco, of Readington Township, NJ; a stepson, Christopher Tedesco, of Princeton, NJ; a sister, Patricia Welch, of Hackettstown, NJ; a brother, Joseph Tinley, of Lake Placid, FL; and his nieces and nephew, Kasey, Mark, and Ashlee.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11 AM in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 105 Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
