John Maddalena, age 77 years, of Brick, NJ, died on Friday, July 25, 2008 in Praxis Care Center, Easton, PA.
Born July 2, 1931 in Croton, NJ, he was the son of the late Louis and Anna Marie Tufo Maddalena and had resided most of his life in Flemington, NJ.
He was formerly a Lab Technician in the Research Department of R.C.A., Bridgewater, NJ. Additionally, he worked for many years at Johns-Manville Corp., Manville, NJ and was also formerly employed by Johnson and Johnson.
Mr. Maddalena was a Life Member of the Flemington-Raritan First Aid & Rescue Squad, Flemington, NJ.
He was pre-deceased by a son, Edward Maddalena in 1993 as well as by three brothers, Mario, Louis Peter and Anthony Maddalena.
Surviving are three sons, John Maddalena of Washington, NJ, Robert Maddalena of Apex, NC and Thomas Maddalena of Medford, NJ; two daughters, Diane Maddalena of Califon, NJ and Cheryl Mulligan of Brick, NJ; two sisters, Lucy Brusco and Tina Gerbi, both of Flemington, NJ; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
