John McNally, age 52 years, of Kingwood Township, NJ, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at his home.

Born in Somerville, NJ, October 30, 1959, he had formerly resided in Basking Ridge, NJ before moving to Kingwood Township fifteen years ago.

He was a Construction Superintendent for Torcon, Inc., Red Bank, NJ.

An avid softball player all his life, he was a member of Local #455 (now a part of Local #254) of the Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners, New Brunswick, NJ.

John had a wonderful sense of humor and an amazing quick wit. He was an All-Star baseball player at the age of 10 and his love of the sport never waivered. He played for numerous corporate teams, always the pitcher. Besides his love of baseball, NASCAR, and being ever the enthusiastic Giants fan, his greatest love was cheering on his children in their athletic or acting endeavors.

Surviving are his wife, Joedy Stapleton McNally; two sons, Kyle and Korey; two daughters, Keri and Kadie McNally, all at home; his father and step-mother, Kenneth and Jean McNally of Branchburg, NJ; six sisters, Susan & Bob Brosius of Bridgewater, NJ, Theresa and Dave Ericson of Readington, NJ, Mary and Rich Luongo of Annandale, NJ, Carol Burch of Reisterstown, MD, Terri and Mark Crowell of Phillipsburg, NJ and Ellen and Todd Smith of Milford, NJ; four brothers, Jeff and Charlene McNally of Somerville, NJ, Kenneth and Ellen McNally of Washington, NJ, Tom and Tricia McNally of Branchburg, NJ and Dave and Janet Burch of San Francisco, CA.; twelve nieces and five nephews.

Services will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in Heritage Baptist Church, Highway 12, Raritan Township, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be Saturday from 1:00-3:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
