John Merski, Jr.

John Merski, Jr., age 81 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Care One at Madison Avenue, Morristown, NJ.

Born in Summit, NJ, June 3, 1939, son of the late John and Mildred Fialka Merski, John formerly resided in Branchburg, NJ.

An avid bowler, John was a member of the Bowlmor Monday Night League in Greenbrook, NJ, and the Frenchtown Senior Bowling League. He was a member of the Somerville American Legion. John was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed driving in his Mustang convertible GT.

Surviving are his two children and spouses, John Merski, and daughter-in-law, Joann Merski of Flemington, NJ and Kim Stasienko and son-in law, Scott Stasienko of Bridgewater, NJ, and four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Garrett, Tyler, and AJ.

Cremation services will be held privately under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. A memorial service will be held in the summer at a time and date to be announced.
