John Morgan, age 91 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at his home.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, March 14, 1920, he was the son of the late John P. and Anna Morgan.
He was a United States Army veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theatre.
He was formerly employed as a plumber with Zanetti & Co. Plumbing and was a crossing guard with the Flemington-Raritan Schools for nineteen years.
Surviving are his wife, Josephine Bozzo Morgan; two sons, John Morgan of Plymouth, MI and Ed Morgan of Flemington, NJ; a daughter, Joanne Johnson of Scottsdale, AZ; four grandchildren: Jennifer, Ed, and Katie Morgan and Christopher Johnson; a great grandson, Jaden Morgan; and a sister, Emma Holzhauser of Clinton, NJ. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Trudi Masi.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 2:30 PM in the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, Grandin, NJ. Interment will be in the church memorial garden. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
