John P. "Jack" Simon, III, age 69 years, of Pipersville, Pa., died Saturday, December 15, 2012, in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA.
Born in Somerville, NJ, March 24, 1943, son of the late John P. and Alice Dalrymple Simon, Jr., he had resided in Pipersville, PA, since 1985 and had formerly resided in Baptistown, NJ.
An appliance repairman for over forty years, he formerly owned and operated Simon Appliances, Hillsborough, NJ, and retired in 2004.
Jack was a former member of the New Jersey National Guard and was a hard worker all his life. He was a member of the Two Cylinder John Deere Tractor Club; loved music and cars and was a loving husband and father.
He is survived by his wife, Holly Sutphin Simon; three sons, Michael J. Simon and his wife, Zina of Darby, MT, Glenn Simon and his wife, Toni, of Upper Black Eddy, PA and Doug Simon of Upper Black Eddy, PA; a daughter, Tammy Simon of Flemington, NJ; two sisters, Margaret Simon and Charlotte Read, both of Long Valley, NJ; five grandchildren, Chrystalynn, Kourtney, Cody, Carly and Brittany; and two great grandchildren, Valerie and Izabella.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 20, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ, followed by interment in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Reaville, NJ.
