John P. Schmieder

John P. Schmieder, age 61 years, passed away after a long illness on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in Foothill Acres Care Center, Hillsborough, NJ. Born in Orange, NJ, John was the son of Louis Schmieder of Union, NJ and the late Lois Anne Weber Schmieder. John previously lived in Union and Elizabeth, and had resided in Roselle, NJ for the past twenty years. John loved animals, and in his younger life, had worked as an Animal Care Specialist. Surviving, in addition to his father, are his sisters, Nancy Redeker, of Cheshire, CT, and Jayne Hanley of Monmouth Junction, NJ; his brother, Robert Schmieder, of Flemington, NJ; three nieces and nephews; and six great nieces and nephews. John was a kind soul who loved his family and will be missed by all. There will be a private family remembrance for John.
