John R. Kuster, Sr.

John Robert Kuster, Sr., age 80 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at his home.

Born in Somerville, NJ, November 19, 1936, he was the son of the late Ernest and Bertha Betchart Kuster. He was a lifelong resident of Hunterdon County.

Mr. Kuster was a farmer and was retired from the Thomas J. Lipton Company.

John was a United States Army veteran serving 1960-1964.

His wife, Joyce Verity Kuster, died in 2016. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Albert and Ernest. Surviving are his three sons; John R. Kuster, Jr. of Ringoes, NJ, Jason Kuster and his wife, Kelly, of Frenchtown, NJ, and Jerome Kuster of Pine Hill, NJ; and his grandchildren: Kayla, Jacob, Abigail, and Alysa.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11 AM in the Kingwood United Methodist Church, 257 County Road 519, Kingwood Township, NJ. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 6-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
