John Robert Morse

John Robert "Bob" Morse, age 85 years, of Alexandria Township, NJ. died Monday, December 12, 2016, at his home.

Born in Cherryville, NJ, August 19, 1931, son of the late Clifford and Charlotte Schneider Morse, he had formerly resided in Clinton Township, NJ and had resided in Alexandria Township since 1980.

Bob was a manager for Sprint for forty-five years, in Flemington, NJ and Annandale, NJ. He was also a farmer for twenty-eight years, farming Lazy J. Farm in Clinton Township.

Bob was a member of the South Ridge Community Church, Clinton, NJ.

Surviving are his wife of sixty-five years, M. Gladys Luft Morse; a son, Curt R. Morse and his wife, Susan, of Pattenburg, NJ; a daughter, Linda D. Daniel and her husband, Charlie, of Shermans Dale, PA; three brothers, David O. Morse of Saylorsburg, PA., Nolan A. Morse of Smyrna, NY, and Daniel E. Morse of Bethlehem Township, NJ; four grandchildren, Kara McGinniss, Lori Cox, Kelly Morse and Evan Daniel; and five great grandchildren, Peighton, Kenna, Colton, Jesse and Finlay.

Funeral services officiated by Pastor Nathan Tuckey, will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016, at 11:00 AM in South Ridge Community Church, 7 Pittstown Road, Clinton, NJ. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ. Calling hours will be Wednesday 7:00-9:00 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
