John T. Bede

John T. Bede, age 74 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Friday, April 18, 2014 in Capital Health Regional Medical Center/Helene Fuld, Trenton, NJ.

Born in Scranton, PA, April 26, 1939, he was the son of the late Jasper and Dolores Costello Bede.

Formerly from Jersey City, NJ, John worked for The United Parcel Service as a truck loader in Mount Olive, NJ. He was an avid baseball fan and coached the Flemington-Raritan Baseball League along with Sussex County, NJ leagues.

He is pre-deceased by a son Joseph Bede.

Surviving is his wife of twenty eight years, Patricia Bede; three sons, John Bede of Virginia Beach, VA, Jasper Bede of Wilmington, DE, Joshua Bede of Flemington, NJ; three daughters, Elizabeth Guin of Narbeth, PA, Mary Margaret Carr of Newark, DE, Alicia Bede of Alexandria, VA, and ten grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held from 6-7 PM Wednesday before the service. Interment will be private.
