John Van Gilson

John Van Gilson, age 87 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on September 20, 2000 at his home. Born in Antwerp, Belgium on June 10, 1913, he was the son of the late Ludwig Van Gilson and Josephine Van Castle. Mr. Van Gilson was a veteran of World War II, serving as a U.S. Merchant Marine from 1941-1945. He then became a self-employed plumber for years. John is survived by his wife, Marie (Lissy) Van Gilson, of Flemington, NJ. Interment in Saint Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
