Jose Hernandez

Jose Hernandez, age 49 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, December 27, 2012 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in El Canton Rincon, Tepemechin, Cabanas, El Salvador, November 25, 1963, son of Martin and Angela Callejas Hernandez, he had resided in the Hunterdon County area for the past twenty years, having formerly lived in Somerville and Plainfield, NJ.

He was a custodian at Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Flemington, NJ for the past fifteen years.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife of twenty nine years, Marina Dolores Pineda Hernandez; four daughters, Ana Milagro Hernandez and her husband, Welner Armando Mejia, of Raritan Township, NJ, Maria Beatris Hernandez and her fiancé, Anand Mehta, M.D., of Lambertville, NJ, Yocelin Emerita Hernandez of Raritan Township, NJ and Ana Maritza Hernandez-Amaya in El Salvador; one son, Jose Antonio Hernandez of Raritan Township, NJ; six grandchildren; seven sisters; two brothers; and many extended family and friends in El Salvador and the United States.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the Church on Monday. Interment will be in Cementerio de Sensuntepeque Cabanas, El Salvador.
