Joseph Camenzind Jr., 95, of Raritan Township died Friday, May 24, in

Valley View Care Center, Alexandria Township. He was a lifelong farmer, working on the farm where he resided since 1915. He also formerly worked part time at Flemington Fairgrounds and at Flemington Auction Market.

Born Feb. 4, 1907, in Irvington, N.J., he was a son of the late Joseph and Rose Camenzind Sr. He resided in Raritan Township since 1915. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, the former Fannie Compton; a son, Joseph III of Kingwood Township; two grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington. Call from 10 a.m. Tuesday to time of services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
