Joseph J. Darish

Joseph J. Darish, age 63 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died on Sunday, January 22, 2006, at his residence.

Born in Plainfield, NJ, October 26, 1942, he was the son of Sophie Soltys Darish of Middlesex, NJ, and the late Joseph R. Darish. He had resided in Clinton Township, NJ, for the past thirty-five years, having previously resided in Piscataway, NJ.

He was a United States Army veteran, serving as a Lieutenant in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

He was formerly employed with TH Paris, South Plainfield, NJ, as a Mechanical Engineer specializing in fluid hydraulics. He was a graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Ellen Korpita Darish; two sons, Lt. Cmdr. Jason A. Darish, United States Navy, and his wife, Shannon, of Leavenworth, KS, and Jeffrey M. Darish, and his fiance, Kelly Flynn, of Newfield, NJ; a brother, Frank W. Darish, of Whitehouse Station, NJ; and two sisters, Diane McFadden of Flemington, NJ, and Denise Schroeder of Rahway, NJ.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 9-11 AM in the funeral home.
