Joseph Katchik

Joseph Katchik, age 83 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Sunday, February 9, 2014, in the Somerset Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bound Brook, NJ.

Born in Plymouth, PA, January 9, 1931, he was the son of the late Joseph and Eva Katchik.

He was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, and worked for many years in fleet services at Newark International Airport. He was a former professional football player with the New York Titans.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Zurinski Katchik, of fifty-five years; two daughters, Kathy Katchik of Bridgewater, NJ and Carol DiPaola of Freehold, NJ; and two step grandchildren.

Funeral services and interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
