Joseph S. Maresca

Joseph S. Maresca, age 82 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 in Delaware Township, NJ at the store he operated with his family for many years.

Born in the Bronx, NY, September 19, 1927, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Eva Casetta Maresca and had resided in East Amwell Township, NJ since 1956.

A 1946 graduate of Flemington High School, Flemington, NJ, Mr. Maresca was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War, stationed in Germany. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post in Sergeantsville, NJ.

He and his brother, Emil, owned an operated S. Maresca & Sons Fine Meats, Sergeantsville, NJ for many years.

Surviving are his wife of fifty-three years, Helen Stanwick Maresca; and his brother, Emil Maresca of East Amwell Township, NJ.
