Josephine Brinkerhoff

Josephine Brinkerhoff, age 90 years, of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ died Monday, May 17, 2004 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, August 18, 1913, daughter of the late Roman and Eva Romanoff Check, she had formerly resided in South Plainfield, NJ before moving to Franklin Township three years ago.

She was a retired seamstress and attended the Calvary Baptist Church, Flemington, NJ.

Surviving are a son, Ronald Brinkerhoff of Pittstown, NJ; a sister, Anne Check of South Plainfield, NJ; two brothers, Anton Check of Bricktown, NJ and John Check of South Plainfield, NJ; four grandchildren, Victoria Brinkerhoff, Cheryl Sabol, Cynthia Althen, and Ronald G. Brinkerhoff; and two great-grandchildren, Hailey Sabol and Jessica Sabol.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in Calvary Baptist Church, 262 South Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ.
