Josephine Iorio

Josephine Iorio, age 93 years, of Fanwood, NJ, died on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at her residence.

Born in New York City, NY, August 6, 1913, daughter of the late Louis and Rose Troisi Ricca, she had resided in Fanwood since 1964, having previously lived in Queens, NY.

She was formerly Chief Clerk for the State of New York Banking Department for over twenty-five years.

Her husband, Ernest Iorio, died in 2001.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Salvatore Bifulco of Wesley Hills, NY; a son, Richard Iorio, M.D. of Readington Township, NJ; a son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Patricia Iorio of Clinton, MA; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

The Liturgy of the Word will be said Saturday at 8:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Parish, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
