Josephine Wasilewski

Josephine Wasilewski, age 90 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Sunday, October 22, 2017 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Hope, NJ, January 12, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Stella Kucharczyk Siedlecka. She had resided in Hunterdon County for most of her life. She retired from the Flemington fur company after 11 years of employment as a sales person. Josephine will be remembered for her strength, simplicity, unconditional love and enthusiasm for life. Her family was her top pride and joy. She was a very classy and independent lady who loved social gatherings. For many many years Family holiday get-togethers centered around Josephines excellent cooking. She believed she will be reunited with past loved ones in heaven. She will be sadly missed. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, Sr., and a son, Walter, Jr. Surviving are her children: Mary Ann McManus, and her husband, Thomas, of Cary, NC, Ed Wasilewski, and his wife, Lynne, of Lehighton, PA, Marlene Luhrs, and her husband, Sorrell, of Catawissa, PA, Wendy Wasilewski of Flemington, NJ, and JoAnn Stefanelli, and her husband, Gerard, of Easton, PA; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Burial will be private in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Family and friends will be received at the family residence on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 2-6 PM. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
