Joyce A. Bolger, age 76 years, former resident of the Flemington area for over fifty years, died on Monday, July 30, 2018 in St. Luke’s Hospital-Anderson Campus, Bethlehem Township, PA.
Born in Plainfield, NJ, October 4, 1941, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Valentino Higgins. She had most recently worked as a Sales Associate at the Flemington Fur Exchange.
Joyce was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, the Flemington Moose Lodge, and the Military Order of the Cootie.
Her husband, Harry Bolger II, died in 2007. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Harry III and Lisa Bolger of Stockton, NJ, and Michael and Barbara Bolger of Whitehouse Station, NJ; a daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Timothy Vreeland of Bangor, PA; her siblings: Thomas Higgins of Flemington, NJ, Mary Ann Paterniti of Stanton, NJ, and John Higgins of Philadelphia, PA; and her three grandchildren: Harry Bolger IV, Jake Bolger, and Sarah Bolger.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
