Joyce E. Cronce

Joyce E. Cronce, age 91 years, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, died on Saturday, December 12, 2015 in Brakeley Park Care Center, Lopatcong Township, NJ. Born in Easton, PA, April 16, 1924, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Sarah Margeson Stumb. She had formerly resided in Flemington, NJ, Allerton, NJ, and Easton, PA. Joyce was employed in the payroll office of Edna Mahan Correctional Facility, Clinton, NJ, retiring after 26 years of service. Joyce was the matriarch of her family, an avid gardener, and loved flowers. She was a member of the Allerton United Methodist Church, where she was a longtime Sunday School teacher. Her husband, Bertram Cronce, died in 2005. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Betty Cronce, of Milford, NJ; a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Anthony Casciole, of Phillipsburg, NJ; a sister, Phyllis Kliment of Milford, NJ; two grandchildren: Ryan and Adam; and two great grandchildren: Quinn and Evelynn. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ.
