Joyce H. Ashman

Joyce H. Ashman, age 78 years, of Bridgewater, NJ, died on Friday, December 1, 2006 in the Arbor Glen Health Center, Bridgewater, NJ.

Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, December 3, 1927, daughter of the late Allen Cecil Hawk and Helen Harms Hawk, she had formerly resided in New York State, San Jose, CA, then in Flemington, NJ for nineteen years, Coral Springs, FL for fourteen years, and had resided in Bridgewater eight years.

A retired Secretary, she was formerly employed at the Easton, PA Radio Station, Lafayette College, Hunterdon Central High School, Flemington, NJ, Hunterdon Transformer, Flemington, NJ and Hunterdon Abstract, Flemington, NJ.

Her husband, Vincent Ashman, died in 1998 and a brother, Arthur A. Hawk, died in 2003.

Surviving are a son, Vincent Ashman of Flemington, NJ; three daughters, Leslie Helen Ashman of Somerville, NJ, Elizabteh Whalen of Bridgewater, NJ and Linda Ashman Hicks of Denver, CO; five grandchildren, Lars Crooks, Courtney Ashman, Alexandra Ashman, Briana Laskey and Jason Hawk Hicks; and one great-granddaughter, Phoebe Crooks.
