Joyce Pamela Schindler, age 56 years, of Raritan Township, NJ passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 at her home after a short, but courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Perth Amboy, NJ on March 23, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Florence Snyder Noshay. She was a lifetime New Jersey resident and resided with her family in Hunterdon County the past twenty-six years.
After graduating from the University of Maryland she worked in sales and marketing and found her passion as the owner of children’s clothing and gift boutique stores.
Joyce loved music, traveling, and especially spending time with her family.
She is survived by her beloved husband of thirty-two years, Scott Schindler, as well as her two children: Craig Schindler, of Oakland, CA and Dana Schindler, of Flemington, NJ. In addition, she is survived by her brother and sister-in-law; David and Mary Ann Noshay, of Menomonee Falls, WI, her loving mother-in-law and late father-in-law; Judith Schindler and Henry Schindler, of Monroe Township, NJ and her loving sister-in-law; Carrie Hydro, of Hillsborough, NJ as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services officiated by Rabbi Eric Cohen will take place on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 11:00am in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
Memorial contributions in Joyce’s name may be made to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue, NYC, NY, 10065.
