Judith G. Fredericks

Judith G. Fredericks, age 81 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at her home. Born in Palestine, April 28, 1938, daughter of the late George and Elsbeth Stern Alsberg, she had resided in the Flemington area for over seventy years. Judy was a graduate of Alfred University with a degree in Psychology and received two Masters Degrees-an MA from Rutgers University and an MSW from Trenton State College (now the College of New Jersey). Judy was a social worker and then became Executive Director for Hunterdon Youth Services until retiring. She was a former board member of NJ Family Planning and a former board member of Planned Parenthood as well as the Hunterdon County League of Women Voters. Surviving are her husband of sixty years, John D. Fredericks; two daughters and sons-in-law, Regina Ann and Frank Gray of Hillsborough, NJ, and Lesley Fredericks and Jim Landers of Roslyn, PA.; a son and daughter-in-law, Andrew Walter and Anne Fredericks of Flemington, NJ; three grandchildren, Conor Gray, Jillian Gray and Aidan Gray; and a sister, Susan Alsberg of Longmeadow, MA. Cremation services will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
