Judith Yard Hall

Judith Yard Hall, age 82 years old of Raritan Township, NJ, died Friday April 1, 2022, at Hunterdon Care Center, Flemington, NJ. Judy was born at home on the family’s farm in Readington Township, NJ to the late Florence Porter Yard and Robert Yard Sr., she then lived in Flemington, NJ most of her life. Judy enjoyed her youth spent living and growing up along the banks of the Raritan River by Darts Mill where she would often tell stories of crossing the meadow to spend time with her Nanny at the family farm. Her fondest memories are times spent with Nanny, her siblings and many cousins swimming and playing on the farm. She worked as a teller for many years at the Flemington National Bank and as a secretary in Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT. She took great joy in being a grandmother to her five grandchildren, Samantha Chapman of Richlandtown, PA, Dennis Hall of Blakeslee, PA, Daniel Hall of Quakertown, PA, Audrey Ardanaz of Madrid, Spain, and Evan Ardanaz of Flemington, NJ. There are also three great-grandchildren, Zachary Hall, Abigal Chapman and Hannah Chapman of Richlandtown, PA that will be missed by her. She is pre-deceased by her husband Dennis S. Hall in 2002. She is survived by her two children Donald Hall of Quakertown, PA, and Lorie King of Flemington, NJ. She is also survived by three sisters, Dorothy Saling of Bridgewater, NJ, Catherine Yard of Flemington, NJ, Susan Palmer of Dayton, TN, and her brother Robert Yard Jr., of Flemington, NJ. Judy will be remembered for making her grandmother's famous fudge, the classic movies she loved to watch and enjoying the company of her family and her daughter’s dogs. She will be missed. A private graveside service will be held in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
