Jules Scheer

Jules SCHEER, 93, of Clinton Township died Thursday, Sept. 20, at his home.

He was an entertainer and tap dancer. During his career, he danced in Broadway shows, performed with the Rogers and Wynn act at the Palace Theater and performed with Betty Masters in Las Vegas.

Born Oct. 7, 1907, in New York, he was a son the late Aaron and Hilda WISER SCHEER. He had formerly resided in Flemington, and Union Township before moving to Clinton Township in 1987.

He served in the Army during World War II in the South Pacific.

He was a lifelong member of the Lambs Club in New York and the Actors Fund of America.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Golcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington. There will be no calling hours.

Burial will be in Flemington Jewish Community Cemetery.
