Julia Bakley

Julia Bakley, age 95 years, of Plainsboro Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 in The Pavilions at Forrestal Health, Princeton, NJ.

Born in Trenton, NJ, July 13, 1914, she was the daughter of the late William and Martha Philhower Johnson. She had formerly resided in Raritan Township, NJ, then in Flemington, NJ, then in Trenton, NJ, and finally in Colorado before returning to New Jersey in 2004.

She was formerly employed by the Hunterdon County National Bank, Flemington, NJ from 1972-1978, and then was employed by a greenhouse in Trenton, NJ until 1995.

Her first husband, John A. Schutts, died in 1968, and her second husband, Thomas Bakley, died in 1978. She was also pre-deceased by a son, John Schutts in 2005. Surviving are

a daughter, Barbara Garrett of Raritan Township, NJ; two sons, Bradford Schutts of Palm Springs, CA, and Donald Schutts of Philadelphia, PA; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
