Julia Emily Sepanak, age 89 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 22, 2008 in Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Bayonne, NJ, August 19, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Kosierowska Zuber. She had formerly resided in Port Charlotte, FL, Watchung, NJ, and Bayonne, NJ.
She was a homemaker while raising her family, and later retired from Western Electric in 1979. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
She was formerly a member of the Watchung Seniors and a member of Pioneers of America. She had a great devotion to Our Lady, and was a frequent attendee at Novenas while residing in New Jersey.
Her husband, Sigmund Sepanak, died in 2007. Surviving are a daughter, Donna Petrella, of Ringoes, NJ; a sister, Agnes Smith of Port Charlotte, FL; two granddaughters, Doreen Helm of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Dr. Brenda Petrella of Quichee, VT; a grandson, Joseph Petrella, Jr., of Flemington, NJ; and four great grandchildren: Jasmine, Avry, Ryley and Delany Helm.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
