Julius J. Simon, age 74 years, of Kingwood Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in New Brunswick, NJ, October 20, 1932, son of the late Steven and Mary Papp Simon, he had resided in the Baptistown Section of Kingwood Township, NJ the past forty-six years.
Mr. Simon was a retired carpenter from the Carpenter's Union #455, Somerville, NJ.
A Communicant of Our Lady of Victories Church, Baptistown, NJ, he was also a Member and Past-President of the Kingwood Rescue Squad.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-four years, Mary Ann Knazik Simon; three daughters, Mary Ann Pensiero of Burlington, NJ, Barbara Simon of Baptistown, NJ and Susan Maurice of Culver City, CA; a son, Julius Simon of Las Cruces, NM; two brothers, Steven Simon of Fords, NJ and Elmer Simon of Perth Amboy, NJ; a sister, Helen Marisi of Jamesburg, NJ; and seven grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Our Lady of Victories Church, Route 519, Baptistown, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Rosemont cemetery, Rosemont, NJ. Calling hours will be Friday from 7-9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
