June Boyd DeHoff, age 89 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Belleville, NJ, June 28, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William and Blanche Boyd. She graduated from Belleville High School.
June wed Richard DeHoff, a chemical engineer, in 1953 and worked alongside him at the Custom Processing Corp. in Trenton and the family farm in Flemington on Amwell Road.
June graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers - Douglass College in 1954 in Journalism. June was an active member and held several leadership positions with the Flemington Woman’s Club, Flemington Presbyterian Church, and the Republicans Club.
She is pre-deceased by her husband Richard DeHoff in 2011 and her son, Paul DeHoff.
June is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth DeHoff of Flemington, NJ; brother, William Boyd, Jr., grandson Paul DeHoff and two nieces, Kim Spear and Linda Boyd (Mullins).
June will be remembered as very gracious, philanthropic, loving, and caring. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, meeting people, and especially spending time with family and friends. She never turned down an opportunity to help someone, or to better her community.
Graveside services will be held at Clover Hill Cemetery, Clover Hill, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Flemington Presbyterian Church, 10 East Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
