June Cathers Mathews

June Cathers Mathews, age 81 years, of Rosemont, NJ, died on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Stockton, NJ, August 1, 1931, daughter of the late Horace and Eleanor Sillery Cathers, she had resided most of her life in Stockton, NJ and later in Rosemont, NJ and was a homemaker.

Her husband, Donald L. Mathews, Sr., died in 1998 and a daughter, Donna Mathews, died in 2008.

Surviving are two sons, Donald L. Mathews, Jr. and his wife, Alexandra Phieler Mathews of Kingwood, NJ and James M. Mathews and his wife, Nora Zucchero Mathews of Sergeantsville, NJ. Also surviving are five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012, at 11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ. Calling hours will be Saturday 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
