June Maxon Niece

June Maxon Niece, age 84 years, a lifelong resident of Flemington, NJ, died on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at the home of her daughter where she had resided since September 2006.

Born June 27, 1923, in Illinois, daughter of the late Wilbur and Mabel Williams Maxon, she had worked for the Flemington-Raritan School District and then for the Flemington National Bank until retiring in 1979.

She and her late husband of sixty-four years, Donald I. Niece, then set out with their travel trailer to see the country. They enjoyed their trips but most of all each others company. He died on November 29, 2005.

Surviving are two sons, Timothy Niece and wife, Debbie of Manchester, NJ and Kenneth Niece and wife, Sue of Flemington, NJ; a daughter Cindy (Niece) Wallace and her husband, Tim of Kunkletown, PA; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Monday at 12:00 Noon in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
