June O'Brien Beyer

June O'Brien Beyer, age 81 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Monday, April 27, 2009 at her residence.

Born in Sunderland, England, June 22, 1927, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Ann Jackson. She had formerly resided in Branchburg, NJ before moving to Raritan Township ten years ago.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching old movies and going to the casinos in Atlantic City.

She was a war bride, moving to the United States in 1947.

She was a nurses aide at Foothill Acres Nursing Home, Hillsborough, NJ, for over forty years.

Surviving are five daughters, Lynn E. Beyer of Clinton, NJ, Vivian L. DeGroot of Hillsborough, NJ, Lorraine Y. French of Centennial, CO, Beverly A. Cornell of Branchburg, NJ, and Brenda L. James of Frenchtown, NJ; a sister, Eva in the United Kingdom; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM in the Calvary Episcopal Church, corner of Broad Street and New York Avenue, Flemington, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours.
