June T. Schroedel

June T. Schroedel, age 83 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Monday, February 24, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving sister, Doris and brother-in-law, Wayne.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, October 24, 1930, daughter of the late Charles and Lillian DeStefano Cassotti, she had resided in the area for the past thirteen years, having formerly lived in Whitehouse Station and Washington, NJ.

June was a bookkeeper at B. Nolte & Son, Inc. in Whitehouse Station and then worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Readington Township, NJ.

An avid skier who loved to travel the globe, she also was fond of spending time with her family going to see shows on Broadway in New York City.

Her cherished husband, Frederick Schroedel, died in 1991.

Surviving are her devoted sister and brother-in-law, Doris P. and John Wayne Adickes of Raritan Township, NJ; her aunt, Cecelia DeStefano of Whitehouse Station, NJ; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, William and Lorraine Schroedel of Raritan Township, NJ, Leo and Doris Schroedel of Easton, PA and Edith Komarck of Bloomsbury, NJ; several nieces and nephews; and several great nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the Church on Friday. Interment will follow in the family plot in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
