June Rose Wenzel

June Wenzel, age 99 years, former longtime resident of Annandale, NJ, passed away peacefully the evening of Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Foothill Acres Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Hillsborough Township, NJ. Born February 20, 1925 in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ludwig and Mary Eva Buch. She had lived in Hunterdon County, NJ almost all her life.

June had a fulfilling career, formerly employed by RCA in Bridgewater, NJ, before her retirement. After her professional endeavors, she devoted her time to her passion for quilting. She was an active member of the Court House Quilters Guild, Flemington, NJ as well as the Franklin Township, NJ (Hunterdon County) Quilters. Her contributions to these groups were cherished, and her creativity and skill will be remembered by those whose lives she touched.

In addition to her parents and siblings, June was predeceased by her husband, Hugo Wenzel, and two sons, James Wenzel and Robert Wenzel. The memory of these loved ones will forever remain in the hearts of her family forever.

June is survived by her loving daughter, Nancy Wenzel, of Flemington, NJ. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Robert Wenzel and his wife Tina of Washington, NJ; Dawn Wenzel of Bloomsbury, NJ; William Wenzel of Lebanon Township, NJ; Tammy Wenzel of Phillipsburg, NJ; and Charles Wenzel of Annandale, NJ. Additionally, she leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of joy and pride in her life.

June Rose Wenzel's legacy of love, artistry, and resilience will endure through her family and friends, who will carry her spirit with them always.
