Justin Matthew Day

Justin Matthew Day, age 31, died suddenly on Saturday, March 7, 2020, while running near his home in Tampa FL. Justin lived in Hunterdon County most of his life until moving to Florida a year ago to start a new career.

Born May 27, 1988 in Morristown NJ, Justin was the son of Barry E. and Jane (Huselton) Day.

Justin graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Rutgers University. Justin had Real Estate licenses in both NJ and Florida. He played varsity baseball at Hunterdon Central Regional High School and also enjoyed playing on the Flemington recreation basketball league during high school. He loved sports and exercising. During summers and college breaks he worked at the Stanton Ridge Golf course where he learned to play golf which he continued to do in his spare time.

Justin is survived by his parents, Barry and Jane Day of Bonita Springs, FL, his brother, Jason Day of Flemington NJ, his maternal grandmother, Marylib Huselton, his maternal uncles, James Huselton (wife Mary Rose), Dr. John Huselton (wife Patricia), Joseph Huselton (wife Paula), his paternal uncle, Thomas Day (wife Carol), and his paternal aunt, Laurel (Day) Gaudio (husband Richard); along with numerous cousins and second cousins.

Calling hours will be from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Cherryville Mountainview Cemetery in Cherryville NJ.
