Jutta (Jaye) Heiduk Oppenheimer

Jutta (Jaye) Heiduk Oppenheimer, a resident of Raritan Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in the Hunterdon Medical Center.

Born in Baeurwitz, Germany, February 21, 1943, Jutta came to the United States in 1952 at the age of nine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kurt and Edith Latka Heiduk.

Surviving are her husband of forty-six years, Robert; her daughter, Laura; a brother, Heinz Heiduk and his wife, Lynne; sisters-of-the-heart, Joyce Oppenheimer, Cheryl Olenick and Nanci Wainwright; as well as Ron and Rhonda Oppenheimer, Dave and Linda Copeland and many wonderful cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.

Jutta retired as a legal secretary after working over fifty years in Flemington and Clinton. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed bird watching, beekeeping, sewing and baking-she was known far and wide for her pie baking skills.

Funeral Services will take place Friday at 7:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ preceded by visitation from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
