Karen Anne Rinker

Karen Anne Rinker, age 71 years, of Flemington, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Long Island, NY, May 25, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Frank Warren Draine and Dorothy Atkinson Draine. She had resided in Flemington since 1973.

Karen was a Communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ, and a member of the Healing Hearts Bereavement Group. She was the bookkeeper for Burkett Supply, Flemington, NJ for twenty-nine years. Karen loved spending time at the beach.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Deborah Gomer, in 1998. Surviving are her husband of fifty years, Donald W. Rinker; a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Christy Rinker, of Harrisburg, PA; her sisters, Maureen (William) Dougherty, of Blackwood, NJ, and Michele Draine of Pasadena, MD; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mark and Charity Rinker, of Ringoes, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 10:30 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 2-4 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822, or to Hunterdon Hospice, 215 NJ-31, Flemington, NJ 08822.
